Hotel Roseneck

The food was perfect.

There’s parking, and although the hotel is on a busy street, it wasn’t noisy. The rooms were quite large and clean, with great heating. The bed and bathroom were okay, though nothing special. I always miss having amenities, and I don’t know how women manage without them. The restaurant has been closed for a while, and maybe that explains the meager breakfast. You’ll get full, but for a supposedly fully booked hotel, a plate of cold cuts and cheese is a pretty limited buffet.

The staff were always nice and friendly, and breakfast had everything I needed, with a few small highlights. The room was comfortable, nice and large, and had the essentials, including a luggage rack, coat rack, seating area with a table, and even a refrigerator. It was also quiet enough to relax. The decor is rustic and definitely not modern, but everything was intact, not worn, and the room was consistently clean. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back. I honestly can’t think of a single criticism.

The staff were friendly, though the owner didn’t bother to say good morning. Breakfast was extremely basic, perhaps because the hotel didn’t seem very busy. The hotel itself is very dated, with old-fashioned rooms, a leaking shower with mold, and no hot water at night. The towels smelled musty too.
