The village itself is lovely, but the hotel and its rooms really need updating. Breakfast was a mess: people were almost competing for the five stale rolls, and the food options were cheap, sparse, and not enough. The dining room was tiny and didn't feel welcoming for children.

We only stayed three nights, so the breakfast was enough for us. The apartment we booked worked wonderfully for us and our baby, and the value was especially good during trade fair periods. The ladies of the house were very friendly. Check-in and check-out took some effort and time. We also really recommend the attached restaurant, just 500 meters away, for its warm service and tasty food.

We enjoyed the stay, and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was fine apart from the rolls on two days; when we asked, they brought out bread instead. The restaurant in town is worth recommending too, with good food and attentive, friendly staff. For ground-floor rooms, though, the terrace wasn't much fun: there was no light, the sunshade couldn't be used because a tree got in the way, and the garden was neglected.

A quiet, professionally run family inn just a stone's throw from Lake Constance. The beds were comfortable and the place was extremely clean. Breakfast was generous and delicious, and the prices were very affordable. We had a really enjoyable stay.
