Landhotel Klingerhof

This was my third stay, and I’d happily keep coming back. The price is fair and affordable, and the breakfast is worth including with your booking. It’s about a 30-minute drive from Frankfurt, and a room with a view lets you wake up to the countryside, with hills, cows, and donkeys. It’s a great option outside the city.

We stopped here during a longer trip and enjoyed a swim in the pool after the drive, dinner at the restaurant, then a good night’s sleep and the included breakfast. It’s a great hotel and restaurant in a lovely location, with good value for what you get. I’d highly recommend it. One suggestion for the hotel: air conditioning ;-)

If you’re travelling and tired, this is a good place to get a night’s sleep, and I’m sure it would work for a longer stay too. The hotel is set back from the highway, so you don’t hear any noise. Staff were helpful and friendly, and the rooms were large and clean, with a great view. Breakfast was OK. There’s a nice-looking restaurant that stays open late, though I didn’t try it. They also have a Tesla destination charger and a 16 Amp connection for other EVs. For saving the environment, they have a lovely system with a nice bag 😊

I was there for a wedding celebration, and the service staff did a great job looking after everyone. The hotel sits on a hill with a lovely view over the surrounding hills and valleys. My room was clean and good, and the bed was comfortable.
