Landgasthaus Zum Wilden Zimmermann

A great base for bikes, trikes, and bicycles, with winding roads in every direction. The outside areas have a nice atmosphere, and the seating works well for larger groups. After a long tour, it was a good place to relax over a nice cold beer. The mattresses were good, but the foam-filled pillows were lumpy. Hot water came through boiling and straight away when we turned on the taps. Breakfast and dinner were great, tasty, and had a good selection, including vegetarian choices. Rooms facing the main road can be a bit noisy. Highly recommended, and we'll book again.

Once the rain eased, I hope we'll get to sit on their terrace next time. We stopped at this place while cycling with our triathlon club in pouring rain, hoping for a hot drink and something to eat. Instead of the cakes we're used to, they offered typical German food, bratwurst, or schnitzel. As soon as we came in, they brought towels and looked after us really well. We messaged the others, and soon there were 15 of us. Service stayed quick even with the group, the food was just what you'd expect, and they even dried some of our gear in the dryer. I can't recommend it enough. I'll definitely drop in again if I need a short break in the area.

I was there on a business visit, so I didn't see the rooms or eat any meals. The place is private and quiet, with beautiful nature around it. Everything looked clean, the people were friendly, and the restaurant was very nice. The location is wonderful.

The people are really nice, and if you're after a really good schnitzel, this is the place. They seated us in the hallway instead of the main dining room, which felt a bit strange.
