The apartment was clean, well equipped, and in a safe spot close to the center. The Town Hall, train and bus stations, and good restaurants were all within walking distance. It was still quiet in the evenings. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy, and I’d recommend it if you want to stay near the center. I spent 6 nights here in September 2025 in a two-room apartment. Two things bothered me: the bed pillows were too large and soft, and I could smell mold in the bathroom ceiling fan.

I had a large apartment at Boardinghouse Rosenstraße for 3 nights on a business trip. It was very clean and had plenty of room. The management were welcoming and friendly, and the apartment stayed quiet despite being a short walk from the city center and a metro station, with the main train station not far away. There are lots of bars and restaurants nearby. If you’d rather cook, there’s a REWE supermarket in Europa Passage mall, about 5 minutes away. They have different apartment sizes, and I’d highly recommend this place for work or leisure.

The operators require advance payment for reservations, but they failed to tell me about it. Exactly two weeks before my planned stay, I was asked to pay. I complained and was assured over the phone that I still had a few days to transfer the money. Then, one day later, they cancelled my reservation. I had to book worse accommodation for more money because prices had risen with the vacation so close. It seems the operators then rented their place out again at a hefty extra charge, profiting from their own mistake. They cut off all contact with me and never apologized.

My friends and I used this place for a con. It was close by, and the service was good.

Really easy to deal with, and we’ll stay there again next time. The room was great, nicely furnished, with quality interiors and Wi-Fi. It’s right downtown in the heart of Hambourg, and I’ve got nothing to complain about.
