Breakfast was okay, the location is great, and most of the staff were friendly. Still, it was the first and last time I'll stay here. Our room smelled like wet dog, and we weren't given another one. The Concierge said this was normal. The towels and sheets had black mold stains, and the door only worked if we opened and closed it with some force. Worst hotel ever!

The rooms were clean and pretty good, and the location worked well, close to the underground and Central Station. The area felt fine and relaxed, though the people around looked a bit strange at first. The rest was disappointing: breakfast was very basic, and the staff weren't friendly. We couldn't leave our luggage because reception said, "I'm not responsible for your luggage."

If you don't speak German well or would rather avoid dubbed films, this is a handy option. The old-fashioned cinema is one of the few places, maybe the only one, showing films with their original audio. It has a nostalgic feel, with curtains opening before the film and comfy reclining seats. And since it's Germany, you can have a beer while you watch.

The location is alright, near the train station, though I wouldn't feel too safe there at night. Most things looked fairly clean, but not especially so, and the door locks didn't seem very secure.

The staff were nice and breakfast was good. The room and bathroom were clean, but the bedding clearly hadn't been changed after the previous guests. There was hair on the sheets 😐.
