The location was just so-so, with a 20-minute walk to the metro and 7 minutes to the bus. Still, we had a pleasant stay and found the hotel a fantastic value. We especially liked the bathtub and complimentary private sauna. Our room was larger than expected, nicely furnished in a practical way, and had a fridge, a Nespresso machine (Tchibo), and complimentary water. A noon checkout was appreciated. Reception welcomed us warmly, and free parking at Penny was handy. The breakfast staff began packing up a little early, and the beds felt a bit firm to us, but those were minor issues.

A nice spot for a night. The nearby area is mostly apartments, which look like public housing, and there aren’t any places of interest to visit close to the hotel. On Sundays, restaurants and shops aren’t open.

The rooms are clean, though the renovation could use an update. Service is good and prices are average. The interior is unusual, and the chefs make tasty, filling dishes.

The neighborhood has a lot of graffiti, which can make it feel a little unsafe. The hotel is across the river and within walking distance of various offices. Rooms are large and clean, and breakfast was fine.

There was noisy work happening on the second floor. On top of that, we’d booked a suite, only to be told on arrival it had been given to someone else. The woman at the counter wasn’t helpful at all. Useless hotel, bad location too. Avoid!!
