Very basic place.

The rooms are tiny.

The apartment is rather run-down, and the rest of the place wasn’t very clean, though the bed linen was. The glass in the bathroom door had a hole in it. The location is excellent, which helps make the price just about acceptable. What bothered me most was the person answering the hostel phone. They were extremely unfriendly every time, starting with the booking. When we called because we couldn’t find the apartment right away, they immediately snapped at us. If someone can’t or won’t deal with guests, they should find another job. Thumbs down.

We only needed somewhere to spend one night, and that’s what we got. For a longer stay or a proper vacation, I’d look elsewhere. The welcome was friendly, and the place is very central. It was fairly quiet for the area with the windows shut. But the parking choices and costs weren’t explained properly at the accommodation. We only got an answer after asking a police officer. Cleanliness was a problem: chairs had unpleasant stains, dust and bits of rubbish had built up in the gap between the beds, the shared bathroom was dirty throughout, and we had to wash the dishes from the cupboards again. There weren’t any closets or storage space, and the price didn’t feel good for what we got. There was also a deep hole in the hallway, covered over with a rug.
