Hotel Garni Forum

We had a family suite with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, plus access to a lovely terrace. The building is clearly old, but the rooms have been restored with care. It’s an easy 5-10 minute walk to the old town, and both the breakfast and the service were very good. We’d happily stay here again.

Room 19 was almost a suite, with a double bedroom, separate sitting room and bathroom. The shower needs some renovation because it drips through the night, though closing the door takes care of it. I was here on a work trip, and the stay was fine overall. As an English speaker, I did find things difficult because the front desk staff didn’t speak even basic English.

The hotel provides free bikes, which are great for getting around. The staff don’t know much English, but they do their best to help. The room was top quality, with heated floors and a nice walk-in shower, though it can overflow easily. They can provide fresh towels if needed. This was our second visit, at my partner’s insistence after she fell in love with the place.

Our last stay was in a lovely, spacious luxury room, and the hotel is well placed near the town centre. We’re coming back in August. How much would it cost to hire two bikes from the hotel?
