Villa Luise

The room itself was pleasant, with a nice bed and bathroom. But the Wi-Fi didn’t work, there were too many stairs, and they don’t take credit cards.

This was a gift for my husband, and what a disappointment. The bungalow was an okay size, but it barely had any dishes: one mug and the rest were small cups. There was no real sign of a kitchen. The pan handle and other things felt sticky, the couch was stained and cracked, and the greasy stove needed cleaning by me. No Wi-Fi either. We’d hoped to sit in the garden, but it was neglected. The table was dirty with peeling paint, and another metal table and chair were rusty. In the evening, rats ran around out there. There were also lots of cobwebs above the front door. The bed was too small for two and very soft, sagging. The bungalow is right on the main road, so it was very noisy, and there was no view of the Weser River. Normally, you should get your money back. Never again!! 😦😢

I was in room 6, and having a balcony was definitely a bonus. The kitchen was tiny, but the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was great.

The Weser river path runs right by the apartment, and you can get to the old town easily. Inside, the modern rooms felt new and clean. A very nice place.
