Langerbein

Breakfast was good.

The good points were the nearby shops, a fridge in the room, and parking. Breakfast coffee was good, though there wasn't much choice for vegetarians. The room itself was clean on the surface, but the floor came up black when I wiped it after showering, and there was a lot of mold in the shower. The owner said the hotel was brand new and had had a lot invested in it, so I wondered if we'd been put in an old room out of spite. Our double room was tiny and claustrophobic, with creaky floors, a stuffy feel, and so little space in the bathroom that two people couldn't pass each other. You could hear everything next door. We often got back after midnight, and I felt sorry for the neighbors because the floor must have woken them. The room was up a steep staircase, the pillows were impossible to sleep on, and there was no shelf for toiletries. At breakfast I took four small sausages to the room for my dog. A staff member asked why I needed them, then said the food was for guests, even though the dog was a guest too. I didn't finish the sausages. The whole thing felt embarrassing and funny at once. I would have felt awkward telling someone not to take four sausages, and I even offered to pay for them. After that, I decided to leave early.

I was made to feel very welcome, and the service was really friendly. The breakfast at Hotel Langerbein was excellent, with nothing missing, and my room was very clean. I stayed at the Hotel Dietrich from April 15th to 16th and went to Hotel Langerbein for breakfast. It was a wonderful stay, and I highly recommend it.

The breakfast buffet had a wide choice and was excellent, with fresh scrambled eggs available if you wanted them. Some rooms have limited headroom, and a few bathrooms are pretty cramped. Still, it was a nice stay.
