The room had a full kitchen, and those really high ceilings made it feel incredible. I hadn't looked closely at the booking, I just needed a place in Hanover for the weekend, so I was caught off guard in the best way. At first it seemed like a regular room, until I switched on the lights and took it all in. Breakfast tasted great too. A couple of small things weren't ideal: there was only one cushion and a little blanket, and no hot meat at breakfast. Still, the room made those easy to overlook. Amazing!

The rooms are spacious and the staff were nice. For an English themed bed and breakfast, though, I missed having a kettle, tea, and milk. It felt strange to find the kitchen completely empty and then be asked to pay extra to use the cups. Some teabags, a kettle, and milk would make sense here.

The building and the area around it are both lovely, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. I don't usually write reviews, but this stay was the best I've had at a hotel. The rooms are beautiful and roomy, and breakfast was delicious, with organic food, fresh vegetables, pancakes, and plenty more. I'd definitely like to come back.

Getting around was easy, with the U-Bahn only a few minutes away, and the neighborhood felt quiet and safe. My room was comfortable and the front desk staff were great. I was surprised to owe city tax even though I'd paid the booking in full beforehand. The kitchen area had absolutely nothing in it. I understand the €20 deposit and €8 charge if you want to cook, but a kettle or even a free bottle of water would have been welcome. The floor hadn't been cleaned well, with dusty corners, and the bathroom mirror was dusty too.
