We skipped breakfast and checked out. The buffet looked as though it had been sitting out for days, with small flies all over the food and old, wrinkled cheese. I’m not exaggerating when I say it could harm your health. Thankfully we hadn’t ordered breakfast. The room was okay for the cheap price, and service was okay, if not the best.

We’d gladly come back for our next family celebration. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the chambermaid did a fantastic job. The bathroom, beds and crib were clean. Breakfast had everything we wanted, including hot coffee. The location suited us well for the weekend, with the event nearby and the trade fair also not too far away. Cribs are available.

The staff deserve praise: they were helpful, capable and attentive, and made us feel like the guest was king. Our room was perfect, with lots of space even after we added the baby cot for €5. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise too, delicious and with something for everyone. We stayed at the Gold Spring Hotel for the weekend and found the price and quality well matched. Just remember what you paid for.
