Avoid this place. I wouldn’t stay here even if it were the only hotel left in Hannover.

The receptionist was pleasant, but the state of the place was awful. The floor clearly hadn’t been vacuumed for ages, the bathroom smelled strongly of sewage, and cobwebs were all over. I won’t stay here again.

HRS said I could pay by credit card, but once I got there they apparently wouldn’t accept one. I was told, “Don’t even bother coming with a credit card.” They then canceled the booking and said they’d take the cancellation fee from my card. I’ve hardly ever had an experience like that.

They charged me the full cost of two single rooms for a week, even though I had canceled in advance, and wouldn’t let me use the rooms at another date. They hadn’t canceled the booking and still demanded full payment. There was no reception, and someone made a rude remark about the hotel chain having to manage 126 hotels. Nobody could be reached by phone. Don’t book here under any circumstances. I certainly won’t.
