Breakfast has plenty of options, though most of it feels much the same. Dark bread and more variety in jams and seeds would improve it. The stay was good overall, but the room was missing soap, and we had to ask twice. The cleaning also wasn't very thorough.

There are lots of restaurants within walking distance, and the hotel is in a good area. I had deliberately paid for a particular room type because of the bed, but was given an upgrade with two single beds instead. When I asked downstairs for a double or better, they said there were no rooms available, even though the hotel wasn't full. I emailed the manager and was told to come back to the front desk so they could move me for the second night. I'd already done that, so I was frustrated to learn they could suddenly free up a double bed.

Our bag was stolen while we were having breakfast. It had our passports, wallets, and phones inside. We expected the hotel to help right away, but there was no assistance or follow-up. For a place like this, the lack of response is deeply disappointing. Management should take this seriously and improve security and guest support. Travelers should be very cautious about safety here.

The bed was really comfortable, and the bathroom was clean with a great shower. I also liked that the room TV has an external HDMI connection, so I could easily hook up my Nintendo Switch 2 system. The hotel was excellent, and the complimentary breakfast was amazing. I'll definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting Hannover!

We've been loyal guests since 2016 and have had many great stays, so it saddens us that our recent visits went this way. We chose not to check in online because we value a personal, human welcome. Instead, the receptionist didn't greet us, smile, or make eye contact, and seemed disengaged and uninterested in her work. A week later, we came back to give the place another chance and encountered the same receptionist and the same lack of friendliness. We deliberately chose interaction with the person at the desk, even with online check-in available as a cost-saving option, because we care about the people there. It felt like that care wasn't returned. We'll keep coming back because of our many good experiences, but next time we'll use online check-in to avoid the unfriendly reception.
