After all that, I collected my things and left. I wasn't willing to spend another night there. It was a horrible experience, and if I'd known what was coming, I'd have slept on the street rather than deal with that man. I arrived late on Friday after many DB delays. The person on duty couldn't find my reservation, but a lovely woman helped and gave me a room after speaking by phone with one of my colleagues. Nobody at the hotel speaks English. I got about six hours of sleep on a subpar bed that squeaked more than I can explain. At breakfast, a very rude man yelled that he was the chef and I had to pay right then. He said there was no reservation for me and asked what I was going to do. I tried to respond, but he kept up his rude monologue until I asked if I could answer his original question. I explained as best I could, then called my colleague because I couldn't deal with that attitude so early on a beautiful day. After they talked, he handed my phone back. It's all about choices. You've been warned!

The rooms are standard, and the hotel is a bit older, but it has a lot of charm. I really enjoyed the pool and sauna, and the breakfast was very good.
