The friendly staff and peaceful woodland setting made our three-day family stay really enjoyable. Everything was clean and comfortable, and we'd happily come back. We definitely recommend this hotel.

The gardens are lovely, with a hiking trail right there, and breakfast was delicious. We stayed in June 2024, with one room for me and my dog and another for my friend and her infant. Both rooms were spotless and well equipped, and the beds and linens were especially comfortable. The charming hosts were happy to help with anything. I'd absolutely recommend staying here.

The peaceful setting made it easy to unwind, and the hosts were so welcoming and helpful. Our room was spotless and really cozy, and breakfast had lots of great choices. I had a wonderful stay at Bed and Breakfast Waldidyll and would definitely recommend it.

I was the only guest when I stayed in fall 2024, so it was especially peaceful. The hotel sits in beautiful countryside, and the hostess went out of her way to make me comfortable. It's a magnificent place, and I'd gladly recommend it.

The historic buildings and garden are beautifully maintained. Still, our experience with the restaurant staff was disappointing. We understand the special measures during Covid19, but when we approached the terrace, we were simply told, “you are not allowed to get in,” without any explanation. Empty tables suggested they could have seated a few more guests. With no reason or indication of when we might be welcome, it's hard to imagine returning. We've enjoyed good service at other Romantik Hotels, including in Dresden and Görlitz, so this place didn't meet that standard.
