The furniture in the rooms is old and smells bad, and the floors creak. There’s no lock on the bathroom door, so it can’t be closed. The place is right beside the train tracks. This is the last place I’d want to stay.

Mrs. Schenk is very kind and friendly, and breakfast was superb in a lovely setting. The spacious rooms are in a villa with a beautiful garden, and the value for money is excellent. We slept with the window open toward the garden, but the nearby railway line didn't disturb us. At night, a nightingale sang us to sleep, and birdsong gently woke us in the morning.

Everything is old and awful, and trains go by every few minutes. Never again.

It feels just like home, only bigger, and the prices are fabulous. Nice to see that it’s still around 😀😀
