The service was friendly, and the atmosphere felt good. It's a real German Landgasthaus, with simple but tasty food and generous portions for a very good price.

The food was tasty, but our club group still had to wait an hour for it, even though we'd sent our choices from the three dishes well in advance. They kept offering drinks, which seemed to be where they made most of their profit. We didn't know who was working in the kitchen or serving us, and the cooks should wear proper chef's uniforms. The long wait was disappointing after pre-ordering early enough.

We went with a small group yesterday, and three of us ordered the kale for €19.20. It was delicious and there was plenty of it, but it came without mustard. When we asked, they brought little packets, then we found a charge of €0.80 per serving on the bill. That came to almost €5 just for mustard. It really should come with this dish, and if it costs extra, the server ought to tell you first. Even though the food tasted so good, we'll think twice before eating there again.
