Premier Inn Heidelberg City Zentrum Hotel

We stayed two nights, and the location was excellent, just a few minutes' walk from the city centre. Our room had no air conditioning, and there was rust and mould in the shower. Perhaps the bathroom's lack of a window meant moisture couldn't get out. We also found breakfast, around 20€ per person, and parking, around 20€ per night, quite expensive. The buffet didn't have much variety.

I stayed three days with my family, and the experience was very good. The location was convenient and the staff welcoming and helpful. I left my valuable headphones in the room and only realized after boarding the train. Reception answered my calls quickly, and the receptionist Maria Lizarzaburu went up to look for them. The Ground Floor Team helped throughout and even shipped them to me. I thought I might not get them back, but they arrived within four days. I'd recommend the hotel for families or groups.

The rooms were clean, and Cathaysa at reception was fantastic, so helpful, kind and friendly. She really went out of her way. I found a cheaper hotel but chose to stay here because of her service. I wish the rest of the staff would treat customers as helpfully and warmly as she did.

The staff service was top notch, and the bed was very nice. The room was clean and as expected, though the chair was very uncomfortable and the shower tap leaked, which was annoying. Breakfast was good, but a few more choices would be welcome. We also saw someone pushing drugs outside the hotel, which wasn't nice.
