OX Hotel Café Bar Restaurant

We had dinner at the restaurant one evening, and it was quite good. The blond girl and the tall slim girl at breakfast were very nice, though the other lady wasn't as pleasant. Breakfast isn't self-service, so you might wait a while to be served. During a stay of several days, they don't really clean the room. They make the bed, change the towels, and refill the toilet paper. There's no elevator or AC, and the rooms get very, very warm on hot summer days. Each room has one standing fan. We asked for another on our third day and luckily got one. The shower leaked across the bathroom floor, the hair dryer was old and sticky, and there was no mini fridge or safe. We picked this hotel for its high review score, but only later realized most of those reviews were for the restaurant. As a hotel, it was a complete disappointment.

The vegetarian Flammkuchen was delicious. We also had coup danmark, ice cream with Vanilla and chocolate poured over it, and that dessert was delicious too. The nonalcoholic coconut cocktail tasted a bit like Danone yoghurt. We were on the cafeteria side. Thanks for the good service.

The service had very little flexibility, and the bathroom was an odd mix-and-match with a leaking shower. The furniture was old and unpleasant. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone expecting even a basic hotel standard.

We only ate at the restaurant. It was raining, so we had to sit inside. The service was friendly but basic, and they got 3 of our 4 dishes wrong. The Pfifferlingssuppe was nothing like a soup. My friend had pasta with what was now called sauce. The Flammkuchen was okay, and so was the salad.
