Blackjack Ranch

The family spoke English, which was a big plus for me as someone from the US. They were really friendly, and it felt like a nice home. I spent the whole day horseback riding and had a great time.

We had a fantastic holiday in beautiful surroundings, and the horses were well behaved. Nellie and Rinus put so much care into making guests feel at home and keeping the holiday carefree. The rooms were spacious and clean, with private bathrooms and very comfortable beds. All the meals were excellent, and Nellie made a fresh, healthy dinner every evening. The animals are all clearly cared for with love and get plenty of time in the pastures. We'll definitely be back soon!

We felt right at home as a small motorcycle club. It's a really cozy place, neat and clean, with the feel of a real ranch out in the quiet countryside. The hosts were friendly and organized the barbecue evening we asked for. It was plentiful and enjoyable. Breakfast was fresh and generous, and drinks could be arranged on request. We've been coming to the ranch for years, and the owners are friendly, attentive hosts. The converted barn is welcoming, and the rooms are kept clean and tidy. They make improvements each year, so there's always something new to see. The horses are sweet and great to ride. It's a lovely place to get away from everyday bustle, tucked into a small village.
