It’s a worn-out hotel from the 90s, though you can walk to the S-Bahn. The rooms didn’t seem clean enough, and the place generally feels neglected. It’s clearly overdue for renovation. The breakfast buffet was surprisingly good. The sauna, fitness room, and restaurant were all closed.

The common areas were just as bad, with trash left lying around. Cleanliness clearly didn’t seem like a priority, which is hard to accept for the price when even basic hygiene wasn’t there. I was extremely disappointed with my recent stay. Dust and dirt were visible all over the filthy rooms, and the bed linens didn’t look or smell clean, so I couldn’t feel comfortable. The bathroom was disgusting, with mold in the corners and a foul smell that made it unbearable to use. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. It needs a serious cleanup and maintenance overhaul. Stay elsewhere if comfort and health matter to you.

They weren’t flexible about changing reservations. There were extra pet fees that weren’t disclosed, and no free water.

The rooms were clean, and it was handy having shops nearby, but the payment mess was really strange and unprofessional. We booked late with our dogs and were glad to find somewhere, though parking was rather expensive and the dog charge was 10 euros per dog per night, which didn’t seem justified. At check-in, we asked the receptionist if we could pay then. He said no, not to worry, and that we could pay in the morning. Less than ten minutes later, the stay fee was charged to our account anyway. When we went down to check out the next morning, we had to pay again. They said they’d release the first payment, but it still hadn’t happened as of Tuesday. We were there Friday night. If we asked to pay at check-in, why couldn’t we? Why charge us twice? When I said I wasn’t happy, the woman at reception that morning just shrugged. Please do better.
