ACHAT Hotel Heppenheim

The underground parking was really convenient, and the hotel is in a good spot with useful amenities. Reception staff were especially friendly and helpful.

I liked having a bathtub in my room, and everything was very clean. The staff were genuinely friendly, too. The rooms are spacious and have what you need, though mine didn't feel as warm or homey as I usually like. It would be great to have some vegan choices at breakfast.

The bathroom was tiny and in terrible shape. Nothing seemed to work, and showering left water flooding everywhere. Hygiene seemed completely overlooked. We paid a very high price for a noisy, uncomfortable night, then spent nearly the whole morning going back and forth with rude, obnoxious staff just to get the room and toilet cleaned. We eventually left when they still wouldn't clean it. We should get our money back. I wish I could give less than one star.

At around 7:30 in the morning, I went to the breakfast lounge while the rest of my family was still asleep. Some of the wait staff verbally confronted me, saying someone had already taken breakfast food to our room number, and made me explain myself. When my family came down later, it was clear nobody else had eaten, but the staff never apologized.
