Claudia made us feel at home, treating us like her own people, and she and Jens suggested places we hadn’t planned to visit. Ask them about paths and nature adventures, they’re happy to help and guide you. The breakfast was such a good start to our daily outings, with fresh ingredients, the hostess’s homemade jams, soft music, and a wonderful view. The hospitality at this amazing hotel went beyond what we expected. Thanks so much for the lovely experience. We hope we can come back soon.

The owners are so friendly, and everything is clean and well organized. Breakfast was very good too. Best tea and coffee I’ve had in Germany so far. 10/10. Thank you!

The breakfast was beautifully prepared, but clearing the tables as soon as we’d finished our eggs felt unnecessary and really unpleasant. And charging an extra €3 for two 30-minute parking sessions seemed incredibly petty. We were hiking as a group on the Alb Shepherd's Trail, but didn’t feel welcome. Check-in took much too long. The explanations were helpful, though they left us feeling like we shouldn’t do much in case we damaged something. I’ve rarely felt this uncomfortable in a hotel.

The breakfast was wonderful, though having things cleared away while we were still eating wasn’t good. We won’t be back. The lady of the house was very fastidious. She charged €3 for parking, supposedly because her roses had been broken, but we couldn’t find any broken roses. We also had to take our shoes off at the entrance, and there wasn’t even a chair to sit on. For the price, we found that quite outrageous.

The rooms have their own special style, and the hotel was exceptionally clean, cleaner than anywhere I’ve seen in a long time. There’s parking right in front, and everything seems arranged for guests’ comfort and a happy departure. The owner took care of everything and made sure breakfast had what you’d like, including consideration for vegetarian sensitivities. Everything was wonderful.
