We loved the city centre in Herford, and the H2O sauna is worth a visit. Back at the Teichhofschmiede, the garden and our little sheep adventure were a lovely part of the week. I stayed there for a week in May with a friend, surrounded by greenery and cute little lambs. Our hosts were kind and welcoming, and the apartment was spacious, beautiful, and fully equipped. Living Green is a peaceful place for a comfortable holiday.

The only thing I'd add is an insect screen on the bathroom window. Apart from that, my family and I couldn't find a single little negative during our week here this summer. The place is very quiet out in the countryside, while still close to everything. It was spotless, roomy enough for four, well equipped, and nicely decorated. The hosts were super friendly, and everything was handled very professionally. It felt like home right away, only better.

The grounds speak for themselves. This is an idyllic place, and I like putting relatives up here when we're short on room at home. The rooms are cozy, comfortable, and clean.

Frauke and Ben gave us such a warm welcome, and we had everything we needed. We felt at home straight away. It's a lovely place to practice sustainable living while on holiday. We'll definitely return.
