The owners are friendly and the location is really good, so it could work if you only need somewhere to sleep and plan to eat out. For us, though, there wasn’t enough to do comfortably inside on a rainy evening, and we wouldn’t return. For the price, there are better choices. The room was cold when we arrived. The thermostat is just for show, since only the landlord can change the temperature. It looked clean at first, but there was dust and hair on the kitchen and living room floors, and the space under the bed had lots of dirt and cobwebs. There wasn’t even a vacuum cleaner. The old furniture didn’t help. The chairs wobbled and the mattresses were worn out and ready for the bin. The TV was tiny, with only about nine channels, each repeated two or three times. The kitchenette was just 1-1.2 meters wide, with a small two-burner hob, sink, fridge and cupboard. Making a meal for two was practically impossible.

We’d definitely stay here again. The owners are really friendly, and there’s parking inside the secure property. The place is spacious, modern and very clean, in a beautiful spot by the lake. The bread roll delivery service is a lovely bonus. 👍😀

I keep coming back because it’s so peaceful, with a fantastic view of the Krebssee lakes. The rooms are spacious and always spotless. I’d highly recommend it.

The terrace was lovely, but during our stay the “gardener” didn’t look after it or scrape out the grout. That sort of job could’ve been done before guests arrived, especially when their visit has been known for weeks. We had a five-month-old puppy, so being told dogs shouldn’t pee on the property because it leaves yellow marks on the lawn just wasn’t workable. The small bathroom was fine and clean, but the rest of the apartment was disappointingly dirty. Our little dog sniffed around and came back covered in dust. That’s unacceptable. The kitchenette wasn’t suitable for making dinner for two, which was an issue since there are no restaurants in town. The advertised bread roll delivery at “reception” wasn’t available because it wasn’t peak season. They should take the sign off the door, then. We had some bad weather and stayed in during the evenings, but there were only five TV channels, perhaps the antenna needed adjusting. The heating didn’t work either. We were told other guests had broken the thermostat, and it wasn’t repaired while we were there.
