Aparthotel Villa Lea

The room had a small kitchen, which is handy if you don’t want to eat out all the time. Getting there was easy, and the underground garage sorted out parking; there was also a sheltered spot for our bikes. Another short Baltic Sea break was nice, as usual. Maintenance let the place down a bit. The kitchen furniture could last longer if repairs were made sooner. They also use plastic bags over the bins here. If guests are meant to use the bins, the bags should be fitted properly instead of draped over them. But what do I know? The toilet brush was in terrible shape and had toilet paper stuck to it. It was replaced after a few days. Then there was the shower head, probably in room 11. I reported it to reception, but nothing was done. Hopefully it’s been fixed by now. If it just needs cleaning, someone could say so, or they could simply replace it. Those little things can spoil a lot. The woman at reception was rather Nordic in her friendliness, but that was okay. That unpleasant experience is why I’m giving three stars.

We’ll be back. The house was spotless, the rooms tastefully furnished, and breakfast was excellent. Friendly staff, a great location, and underground parking too.

It was very kind of you to send the item of clothing I’d left behind to my home, thank you! The accommodation was modern and close to both the beach and town center. Staff were wonderfully friendly, breakfast had an excellent range of choices, and there was a space for my car in the underground garage.

We left for another hotel straight away, though we’d already paid in full. The reception staff were friendly, but couldn’t meet our needs. The place felt cold and sterile, and despite the description, there was no bathtub. The entrance to the underground parking was unlit and needed a PIN.
