The drinks were good, and the food was great. There was a big variety of healthy fish.

We felt very comfortable, and the attentive staff made the stay even nicer. Breakfast had lots of variety, and they were happy to accommodate special requests. Dinner is well worth trying too. We enjoyed the lovely walk to the beach through the woods, including the climb. Before breakfast each day, we swam in the cold Baltic Sea. It was really refreshing and did us good.

We booked directly after Booking.com said it would be cheaper than renting a wooden bungalow through them for Easter. When we got there, after taking a very poor access road, we were told we'd rented the "holiday home." It was barely 16 square meters, smelled musty, and had a tiny "bathroom," a smeared storage heater, broken and shattered cupboards, and dirt and cobwebs everywhere. There was just a rolling clothes rack for our things. It was disgusting. Even our dog didn't want to stay. As if this had been arranged in advance, though a cynic might suspect something was up, they offered us a supposed suite instead. The shower area tiles had been painted over, but the mold still showed through. The silicone sealant looked like building sealant in two different colors, and the place was dirty all over. In the evening restaurant, apparently there was only one set of salt, pepper, and oil. The unkempt waiter kept touching the tops of the dishes through the openings and carried them from table to table. He treated everyone disrespectfully. Breakfast was all pre-packaged, with the same smoked mackerel every day. There was one large piece and a small butter knife for everyone. If you wanted salt for your boiled egg, you had to search high and low. The waitstaff wandered around in casual clothes with their phones in their pockets, in the evening as well as at breakfast. The conservatory clearly hadn't been cleaned in two years. The glass roof was absolutely filthy, and the neglected terrace outside was covered in leaves with chairs overturned.

The setting is beautiful, with a great view of the Baltic Sea, and it's very quiet. The road to the forester's lodge is really bumpy, though. Pets are welcome and caused no problems, and there was plenty of parking. Our room was fine and the staff friendly. Breakfast was okay, but the glasses and plates were stained, as were some napkins. Cleanliness could be better.
