Haus Am Wald

The woodland setting was peaceful and restful, and we could head out on bike rides from there or enjoy Ahlbeck's lovely fine beach. The only thing I found oppressive was the tall hedge around our little terrace. The accommodation was cozy and very well kept, just as thoroughly described. We felt very comfortable and are happy to recommend the apartment.

It's very quiet on the edge of the forest and garden area, but the station and promenade are still an easy walk away. Shops are only a few minutes on foot, and parking is right at the property. The place is impeccably maintained, with lovely, clean, bright rooms, a furnished terrace with a parasol, and bicycle rental.

We were pleased with our stay and would gladly recommend Haus am Wald. The landlord was very nice, and the apartment was super clean and well kept. It was great to find the beds already made. Parking, bicycle storage, and very good internet were available too.

The location was genuinely first-class, and the crib was clean and fresh, just as you'd expect. But the description said we'd have our own terrace, and we didn't. The promised bread roll service wasn't available either. Most of all, I missed having a stove. I don't usually use a microwave, and there weren't any instructions for it. There was no salt or pepper, which we weren't very happy about.
