Hotel Garni Sonne

The location made it easy to get everywhere in just a few minutes on foot, including the beach, shops, and lots of restaurants. Our attic room was exceptionally spacious, with very comfortable beds, and the house was so quiet we could hardly hear the street. The breakfast buffet was plentiful, and they made fresh scrambled eggs when we asked. We stayed for two nights and were very satisfied. The price felt reasonable for what we got. If you’re not expecting luxury, it’s a lovely place for a holiday. We’d gladly come back and recommend the hotel.

We found it easy to get around on foot from this well-located hotel. The staff, especially Kathrin, were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was very quiet and clean, and breakfast service was just what you’d expect as a guest. We came with friends and had booked before they did, but they got an outdoor terrace while we were given a small room on the third floor with a French balcony overlooking the courtyard. We paid the same for different rooms, which felt uneven. Still, it’s recommendable, and we’d be happy to return. Thanks.

We booked the spa area for private use and had a relaxing end to the day. It has a steam room, sauna, solarium, and romantic whirlpool, and I’d definitely recommend it. Breakfast was another great start to the day, with a friendly atmosphere and staff happy to accommodate requests. Our room, number 1 in the Haus Sonne, was by the entrance. It was very clean and had everything we needed, including a minibar, air conditioning, and a terrace with a table and chairs. The shower bathroom was adequate, and the bed was very comfortable. The large hotel parking lot out front had a space for every guest. We were warmly welcomed and checked in quickly, and the location is fantastic. We’ve already booked our next stay at this lovely, very clean hotel, and look forward to seeing Ms. Zusanna and Katrin again. They take such good care of their guests. Full stars well deserved! 🤗
