This is specifically about apartment 1.1. We can't recommend it, and we'd give it no stars if Google allowed that. The terrace was unusable in the sun because there was no shade, and Usedomtravel refused our request for something to block it. The bathrooms smelled of chlorine cleaner the whole time, the grout had old limescale, and the sauna area was too cramped for two people to relax. There was no sauna disinfectant, a mop had been left in the bathroom, and the toilet brush was disgustingly worn out. The kitchen was the worst equipped we've ever seen. For a four-person apartment, there was very little crockery and cutlery, just six knives, and not even coasters. Anyone wanting to cook anything elaborate should bring their own equipment. There was almost nothing to clean with either, apart from a little dish soap. Storage was another problem. The wardrobes were packed with things that belonged in a utility cupboard, including a drying rack, cleaning bucket, vacuum, garden chair cushions, and lots of bedding. We could use only about half the space, or less since the top shelves couldn't be reached without a stool. That may explain the months of dust up there. The decor was uninspired, sparse, or just left in the closet. The TV cabinet door hung crookedly and the drawers stuck. One bedroom had a strange smell, and one towel felt more like a cleaning rag. The living room ceiling light wasn't bright enough to read by, and there were no other lights. This apartment was in a neglected state.

Apartment 4.1 is in a good location and has a decent amount of space, though the furnishings are only average and the place feels quite worn down. The bigger issue is the internet. Despite what the listing says, there's no usable Wi-Fi. You can connect to a network, but the speed is usually around 0.1 Mbps and only briefly reaches 2 Mbps if you're lucky. That's practically nothing, so keep it in mind if you expect to share a photo on WhatsApp or otherwise use the internet.
