Breakfast was a real highlight, with a huge range of good-quality choices. The staff were welcoming, and our room was large, very clean, warm, and had a comfortable bed and an outdoor balcony. It was at the back of the building, so the view wasn't great. The bathroom was very small, with a shower but no bath. We'd definitely come back.

I can walk along the beach in either direction from here, and the location is great. The kitchen is great too, and the place is clean with really good staff. I always stay at this hotel when I come to Usedom and have had no problems. I wrote about my experiences on the island in Black and Paper.com. This year felt a bit strange because of you know what, but it didn't take away from the holiday. I made the most of it and had a great time.

The food was delicious and the staff were friendly, so I felt pretty comfortable there. But it was awkward not being able to get WiFi in the rooms. To use the internet, you had to go all the way down to reception. Room service wasn't great either, as I had to remind them to replace the toiletries.

Breakfast was good and the staff were kind and friendly, but our room was very small, as was the bathroom. The wardrobe was broken, there was no fridge, and the bar closed very early. We thought the place was okay overall, just very expensive for the room we had.

We hadn't booked, weren't hotel guests, and arrived with our two young kids, aged 4 and 6, on December 22 when it seemed every other restaurant was closed for vacation. They made us feel so welcome that the evening was a pleasure. The service was more than excellent, the dinner was good, and we were happy. Thanks for such a nice, unexpected evening!
