We felt comfortable at Villa Flora and enjoyed our stay. It’s very quiet, and the beach, bakery, and restaurants are conveniently close. The courtyard view isn’t the most appealing, but we spent most of our time at the beach. Getting there can mean driving in circles through the many one-way streets, so the villa feels a little out of the way. The apartment has what you need, though the kitchen could be better equipped. The kitchen on the veranda is charming. I’d bring a cutting board, sharp knife, and scissors, and perhaps a radio if you want one. There isn’t much bathroom storage, but the windowsill and living out of a toiletry bag worked for us. The hosts were friendly, helpful, and always reachable by phone.

Even with the building full, it was pleasantly quiet, and the apartment was clean with everything we needed. I was glad to have the hairdryer 👍🏻 The building managers were friendly, and collecting the key via a detour was no problem. The beach is a wonderfully short walk away, with great surroundings for strolling or hiking. There are plenty of restaurants and snack bars, too. We were absolutely satisfied 😃

The on-site support was a real plus: someone was always available, and staff could help with problems and take note of suggestions. Villa Flora had only recently joined the host’s portfolio after its change of ownership at the start of 2022. The location felt secluded and peaceful, yet central. The house is 300 metres from the Baltic Sea and 500 metres from Heringsdorf Pier. It may not be the easiest place to find, and the quiet also depends on the other guests. The amenities were perfectly adequate for relaxing; sometimes you don’t need much. Bring your own dish towel, kitchen or hand towel, paper towels, and bottle opener if needed. You’ll also want garbage bags unless a plastic bag is enough, as well as basics like salt, pepper, and paprika. It was a perfect place for my holiday, and I’d love to return.

It was an okay apartment, though the furnishings could use some improvement. The sink wouldn’t drain properly, and the hallway vacuum was too weak to clean the floors. There were no curtains, and we weren’t given information about the apartment, waste disposal, or returning the key.

I’ve stayed in several Villa Flora apartments many times and highly recommend them for couples or single travellers with a dog. The location is hard to beat, with only the Maritim Hotel better placed. The apartments have more than enough space and amenities. Families shouldn’t have to skimp on price, then it’ll be perfect.
