Hotel Wald und See

The breakfast was perfectly satisfying, and they even tried to offer something different each day. I was impressed enough by the accommodation to already look forward to coming back. Booking online, I was happy with the value for money, but once I arrived I realized it was the best place I'd seen in a long time. At last, sturdy clothes hangers, a free safe, power outlets all around the room, and a spotless refrigerator I could stock myself. You can tell the cleaning staff still take pride in getting every corner clean. Highly recommended. And parking is included, which is top-notch for Usedom!

The hotel is close to both the shops and the beach, and I’d happily stay here again. My room was clean and quiet, though I would have liked a firmer mattress. I weigh 84 kg, which I think is pretty normal these days. Breakfast had a great selection, and the view was excellent. The staff were a little reserved but still friendly. I didn’t use the spa, but it’s nice to have those facilities there. Regards, Sacha

The hotel is in a peaceful spot, with the beach not right on the doorstep. I felt at ease at Hotel Wald und See from the start, thanks in part to the professional, helpful, and friendly staff. Breakfast is available very early, and there’s a small restaurant serving hot and cold snacks and drinks. The hotel also puts on different special events during the year. On October 3rd, for example, two stalls are set up on the beach selling alcoholic drinks and bratwurst in rolls.

Late check-in was possible, breakfast was very good, and the price felt fair for what we got. The service was good too. The building itself is ugly and doesn’t suit Heringsdorf. There was room to ice-skate in the parking lot by the back entrance, but unfortunately they didn’t rent out skates. ;-)
