Landhotel Herscheider Mühle

We came across the place by chance with our campervan and spent a night there. The three pitches are all a good size, and the owner was very friendly and attentive to guests. Dinner from a small menu and breakfast are available on request for campers and hotel guests. We'd definitely stay again.

The food tastes like home cooking, and they serve a fantastic breakfast in the morning. For such a reasonable price, you can't ask for much more. We found this idyllic spot by chance in our campervan, tucked away in the Ebbe Mountains, away from the bustle of Lüdenscheid. It's been family-run for over 200 years and has a touch of nostalgia. We were passing through in our camper and found this rustic little place. The new pitches set aside for campers gave us somewhere to spend the night. We got a very friendly welcome, and in the evening the lovely landlady served us a really tasty meal. There were plenty of walking paths for our dog too.

There are lovely walking paths nearby, and breakfast was good with everything we needed. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. We booked the room because we had our dog and the hotel is quite remote. The building is cozy but a bit dated, which didn't bother us. Our room felt like stepping back in time, but it did the job and kept our dog away from loud noises. We're satisfied and will come back in the future.
