The farm kept us happily busy all weekend, so we never needed to head out for hiking or cycling, or take the kids to the Dinosaur Park in the Devil's Gorge. There were animals to cuddle, calves to feed, kittens to fuss over, and I even got to milk the cows. Our son loved every minute of it. Berni and Gabi greeted the whole family so warmly and showed us around. The apartment was spotless, with lovely little details throughout. We even left with an Explorer's Diploma and a Milking Master's Diploma. Leaving this beautiful place was hard, but we're definitely coming back. Thanks, Gabi and Berni, for such an unforgettable weekend ☀️

The best part was getting to name a calf born on our first night. We also got to milk a cow and feed a calf, and Berni and Gabi let us explore the whole farm and taught us a lot about the animals and farm work. We felt welcome right away. The apartment was fantastic, clean, and had a well-equipped kitchen in excellent condition. A lovely short break at Berni's farm, and we'd recommend it to couples and families alike.

Berni and his wife made us feel very welcome. The place is spacious and clean, with German-style decor. It's set up especially well for children, with chances to feed cows, ride on a tractor, watch milking, and use the playroom and swing. A good choice for families. The two cottages are in a house beside this dairy farm in the Eifel.

We'd love to return. The Schaal family were so hospitable, and the apartment met all our expectations. It was a very relaxing holiday in a charming area.
