The parking lot is large and easy to reach from the main entrance. Check-in was straightforward, and the really friendly clerk showed me to the room while explaining everything I needed to know. The room was clean and looked very comfortable. The pictures are of room 28 on the ground floor.

The roads toward the harz were blocked by a snowstorm, and I needed somewhere quiet to hold a video conference. The receptionist, whose first name I remember as Bettina, offered me a place in the restaurant and said I could stay as long as I needed. Everything was very clean, and the hotel manager was a very nice guy. I’d go back anytime, and will most likely stay there when I’m next in Herzberg. Thanks again, I recommend it wholeheartedly.

The food was amazing, and the place is very cozy with great service. Our receptionist also served us at dinner, and she was especially helpful and caring. She deserves a pay raise ;-)

The restaurant food was really nice, though a little expensive, and room service was very good. The room and bathroom were clean, the mattress was comfortable, and there was good free parking. The minibar was expensive.
