I wouldn’t recommend it. The owner says she tries to fix the problems, but any improvement seems to last only a few minutes. The whole building smells of cigarettes: people smoke in the hallways, and sometimes in the rooms too despite the ban, so the furniture and mattresses end up smelling smoky. If you’re unlucky, the toilet may smell of decay as well. The owner also often goes into rooms when guests are out and rearranges them. Smoke detectors are hard to find, and there aren’t any in the rooms, only some in the hallway.

The rooms I stayed in were always clean, though they’re on the small side. The landlady is consistently friendly, and the price for what you get is quite good. If work brings me back to the area, I’ll ask for a room here again.

As a construction worker, I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and neatly furnished the room was. The landlady was very nice too. Regards, Heintze.

Everything was really clean and tidy, and the furnishings were excellent. The landlords were friendly.
