The Cosy Home

This was my second stay, several years after the first, and I’d book again if I’m ever in the area. It’s a cozy, friendly place. Our room was spacious, with a large comfortable bed, and the owners were super friendly and quickly sorted out our extra requests. Breakfast was a standard German spread, with nice touches like homemade marmalade.

We landed here by chance after problems with our other accommodation, and the apartment room was well worth the price. The location is very quiet, the beds were unbelievably comfortable, and the service was friendly and helpful. My kids loved all the animals there. If you’re visiting the area, this is a great place to stay.

The Cosy Home is a little gem in Hodenhagen 💎. From the outside it doesn’t look like much, but the rooms are really nice, and the beds were by far the best I’ve found at the other hotels I’ve tried in the area. It’s the only place where I got a decent night’s sleep. The floors are heated and complimentary coffee is topped up every day. I would have liked a full breakfast with eggs, bacon and pancakes. They do offer breakfast, but I’m just not a Brötchen-and-salami person in the morning. Apart from that, I think it’s one of the best places to stay.

The Cosy Home really is cozy. It’s on a small street among ordinary houses, but feels more like a mini resort, with a lovely, carefully arranged garden. The rooms are modern and well equipped, with large bathrooms, heated floors and a well-stocked minibar. The manager/owner and the whole service team are very friendly, and breakfast is delicious and generous. There’s also a good sauna and a clean indoor pool.
