Breakfast was good, and the place felt clean and comfortable. I liked its atmosphere and history, too. Being right by the railway station gives this hotel a character you don't find elsewhere.

The Hermannsweg is only about 1.5 kilometres away, and there are great routes nearby for walking and cycling. The hotel itself is in the old railway station, though it has been renovated so much you wouldn't recognize it. Local trains still run from here to Rheine, Osnabrück, Bielefeld and Hengelo in the Netherlands. It's a small, welcoming family hotel with a very good breakfast buffet. The rooms are a bit small, but comfortable enough.

The restaurant was really good, but I wasn't keen on the hotel being in a railway station. When a train passes at full speed, the whole building shakes.

The owners are wonderful, and we had a perfect stay. We'll definitely return to enjoy their hospitality and the area again 💪💪💪

Great location, and a nice German restaurant. I'd say it's in the medium to high price range.
