There’s plenty of space here for 2-4 adults, or for 2 adults with up to 3 children, and the place is superbly equipped. It’s a great base for hiking in the national park. Hospitality is clearly a priority, and you have everything you need.

The setting is so idyllic, and the guesthouse itself is lovely and spotlessly clean. The hosts were really friendly too. My wife and I would wholeheartedly recommend staying here, and we’ll definitely return.

Coming here was genuinely restful, and we felt refreshed. The daily bread roll delivery saved us a lot of effort, and on Sundays there was cake as well. The apartment had everything we could want, from a hairdryer and bathrobes to a curling iron and spaetzle maker, plus plenty more. It was also very clean and well kept. The hosts were so considerate and helpful. We’ll certainly be back!

We stayed as three in the attic apartment, which has five beds across three rooms, so there was lots of space. The Piller Guesthouse is run by its owners and sits centrally in the Bavarian Forest National Park. The apartment was modern, non-smoking, very clean, and had all the equipment we needed for a holiday. We especially liked unwinding on the balcony in the evening. The owners offer bread roll delivery for breakfast and were at our door each morning at 6:45 a.m. I'd gladly return.
