The shared kitchen is badly run down, and there’s a strange smell throughout. The toilets were absolutely filthy, with dust everywhere, and the whole place was unbelievably dirty. There were signs of forced entry all over, and the doors didn’t lock properly. I booked one night through Booking.com for €50, but this accommodation was basically unusable. A terrible experience.

The food was genuinely delicious, and the service was excellent. We had a wonderful meal, even though the place itself looks a little worn.

The rooms were adequate, and the gentleman was really friendly and welcoming. The rest of the place could use a bit more crockery. It suits people who are completely independent.

A village pub with people of all ages coming in. The staff are very friendly, the food is excellent and the prices are reasonable. I’d gladly come back.
