In this peaceful little village in sächsische schweiz, we found a cozy house that worked well for a weekend and some hiking. It’s just a place to sleep, so bring your groceries and use the kitchen to make your own meals. There was a microwave, regular owen, stove, coffee machine, fridge, plates, cups, and other basics.

The house feels so cozy and homey, and I loved everything about it. It can be a little tricky to find, though, so I’d get in touch with the host before arriving.

A cosy little place, nice and compact.

The attic sleeping area is a bit low, but it’s fine for what it’s meant for. The rest of the layout is thoughtfully arranged, with a separate hallway, a bathroom that isn’t right in the living area, and plenty of outlets. The place is comfortably furnished and has everything you need for 3 to 4 people, dog included. We’d gladly return if we get the chance.

They found us a place to stay at very short notice, and were so welcoming. It was clean and just a few minutes’ walk from the castle.
