Das Bunte Kamel

What a fantastic hotel!

The animals at the hotel were really sweet, and the rooms have the essentials. The beach is about ten minutes away. We were welcomed very warmly and felt comfortable straight away. I slept especially well in the beds, better than I usually do on holiday. All in all, a lovely hotel :)

We've stayed here several times. The owners are courteous and try to find solutions for individual needs. My assistance dog is warmly welcomed, and their dogs are friendly too. Breakfast is simple but enough, and there's a varied dinner menu. We always enjoyed the fried potatoes.

The location was okay, but our experience fell far short of the talk about inclusion, for both mental and physical disabilities. When guests had questions, they were ignored and told to make contact only through the tour guide. Most rooms were very small, apart from the wheelchair-accessible ones, and accessibility elsewhere was limited. A wheelchair user could hardly open the door alone, the hallway was very narrow, and the terrace could only be reached by going around the house. Dogs were allowed everywhere, despite people being afraid and this being reported to the manager several times. The response was, "Let's see how long you can keep that up." A request not to spray ant poison because there was a small child was ignored. Fast food was served every evening.
