I could have used a sun lounger, and these days a wallbox for electric cars would be great since there aren't enough public charging points in town. Still, we had everything we needed in the kitchen, and the house was very nice, in a quiet area. I liked the modern furnishings, accessories, pictures, and little garden, which also has a bike rack. We'd love to return next summer. ☀️🌊

The house is beautifully kept inside and out, and it was easy to feel at home in the lovely garden. Apartment 9 is the third house in the three-unit complex at Reiherstieg 2c, with its own numbered parking space. It's very well equipped, including mosquito nets on the windows and patio door, and the beach is only a few minutes away despite the quiet setting. We even enjoyed watering the plants. We did miss blackout curtains in the bedrooms. It got light very early, and the sunshine we were lucky to have for almost two weeks also made one room quite warm. A curtain or blind in the bathroom would be welcome too. For this location, I find the holiday home's price too high. Hohwacht doesn't offer much, and the restaurants aren't very good.

Having a dog was no problem thanks to the little fenced garden. The apartment was really lovely and furnished just right. We went shopping in the mornings at the Edeka supermarket in Alpen, on foot, of course.
