The rooms have an old-fashioned design, but they're quaint, roomy, and cozy, with the essentials and space to unwind. I also liked the classic exterior and the lobby and restaurant's elegant old-school feel. There's even an old bell at reception to ring if you need help. Hotel Stadt Homburg Sleep and Sense GmbH is well placed for transport and nearby attractions. Dinner was exquisite and high-end, yet reasonably priced, and breakfast had tasty choices for a hearty or lighter start. A charming place, and I very much look forward to staying again. 😊

The pool is big, clean, and quiet, a nice spot to relax. The hotel has a classic feel and a great location, and it keeps up its standards. Staff are always ready to help, and they make an effort to meet each guest's expectations so everyone feels special. Breakfast is traditional, and the new lunch and dinner menu was great. always 5/5

The WiFi was the big letdown. It barely worked in our room, kept dropping whenever we got a signal, and was reliable only on the reception floor. The staff and owner were very friendly, and the owner was knowledgeable and even served us at lunch. Meals were good, especially breakfast and lunch, though the special (9,10) felt a bit expensive for lunch. It did taste great, and the hotel is in a good area.

The weak WiFi was my main gripe. In both rooms I used, reception was extremely poor, almost nonexistent. Still, I've stayed here twice, each time for more than three days, and had a great experience. The whole hotel was very clean, my room was cleaned nicely every day, and the staff were helpful and spoke English well. Both rooms had balconies. I assume they all do, which is handy for smokers since you can smoke there, just ask reception for an ash tray. There's also a pool, though I haven't tried it. I hope they fix the WiFi soon. It's 2018, and hotel guests shouldn't be unable to use the internet.
