We needed a place to rest after travelling late into the night, and although many places were already closed, the check-in kiosk and someone answering the phone made things much easier. The service was a real relief. Hotel Zur Post has an old-fashioned feel and brings back memories of the past, but it's clearly cared for, clean, and tidy despite its age. Breakfast was basic but fine, and we had a comfortable, restful night. A quaint little gem.

I only stayed briefly, but the room was good quality and the service was great. The automated check-in machine wasn't working, though reception communicated well, and someone came to show me the room and take payment. The location was convenient, with plenty of parking along the main road as well as a dedicated hotel lot.

We used the hotel for two nights as a pit stop on the way home. It's fairly close to the A3, which made it a handy choice. The rooms were clean, and the staff were friendly. The building and the inside of the hotel feel old-fashioned, with some old things on display, though lots of buildings in the area are like that. There are interesting things to read about the area's past, and a castle not far away.
