I really like the apartment, but a few missing basics are frustrating. There are too few drinking glasses, no dishcloth, dish soap, or basic cleaning supplies. The cups still had tea stains, and there was no sugar, salt, or coffee filters either.

It’s nicely furnished and centrally located, so it works well for a short city break in Husum. We wouldn’t recommend it for a long vacation. The place is so small that if one of you can’t sleep, there’s nowhere to go at night. The bedroom and living room are separated by only half a wall, so switching on the living room light would wake your partner. We were there in February, so stepping outside for a while wasn’t an option either. There are no dish towels if you don’t order a linen package. We’ve run into that with other “dream vacation rentals” too, so we bought some ourselves.

After a walk or a hike on the mudflats, I’d have liked somewhere to put my feet up. The living area has armchairs, but I’d have preferred a sofa. A clock and radio would be nice too. The apartment itself is nice, though storage for clothes is limited.

It’s a lovely little holiday home, furnished comfortably with everything you need. There’s a parking space as well.
