We had an unusual little adventure during our stay at this very pleasant hotel. The local fire department is right across from it, and in the middle of the night the sirens suddenly woke us up. We were startled, then watched cars pull in at the fire station. People changed clothes, climbed into the fire trucks, and were off, all within three minutes. I'd never seen that before. Quite an experience.

We woke up to a delicious breakfast every morning, and our room had a lovely outlook over green pastures with grazing cows and mountains behind them. The rooms were nicely appointed, and the staff were attentive. A stunning country retreat. Highly recommend a visit.

We spent three nights here for a quiet getaway, and weren't sure what to expect from a hotel in such a small, remote town. It turned out to be charming, calm, and really well run. The rooms were kept in great shape and were spotlessly clean. There's no unnecessary luxury, just all the comfort you could want. We also ate at the restaurant and loved the food. The staff were super friendly to pets, so next time we'll bring our dog. We loved our stay and will be back.

A family-run hotel with great comfort and service, plus a delicious breakfast. Just right for business travellers needing a stopover in the area.

The restaurant surprised me in a good way. I ate there many evenings during my business stay of more than three weeks, and really enjoyed the well-cooked Bavarian food. At breakfast, the restaurant staff were friendly and quickly learned my favourites, then made sure I got them. On the day I left, they even put together a substantial food pack to go, which I appreciated. The family-run hotel staff made the trip feel like a holiday whenever I was around. Reception was helpful with my requests and proactively found solutions that put me at ease. Thanks for a lovely stay, Klostermaier team. Well done, and keep up the good work. I'll be back.
